**Position Overview**:
- Ally_group is seeking senior lawyers with administrative law and governance expertisee.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a Department with an excellent workplace culture and provide legal advice and support on environmental legislation.
**About the Role**
**Main duties**
- provide specialist legal advice on administrative law matters
- perform independent research work and analysis including the preparation of draft reports on relevant project activities
- coordinate regular project reporting including status updates and exception reports
- prepare draft written material including advice, business cases, plans, executive briefs
- identify and assist with the management of project risks, issues and benefit
- contribute and support the development and implementation of improvements and best practice in processes and procedures
- develop and support stakeholder relationships to deliver projects
**Skills**
- Excellent writing skills including preparing internal legal advice and briefs
- develop and support stakeholder relationships
- Process driven
- Strong Excel and data analytical skills
- Attention to detail,
- research and make decisions based on sound judgement, expertise and knowledge
- Administration Law expertise
**Other requirements**:
Our preference is for full time availability, but we will consider job share or part time arrangements.
**Desired skills**:
- To be successful it would be preferable for you to be admitted as a solicitor with at least 3 years PAE,
- Previous experience advising statutory bodies undertaking merits review is preferable.
- Experience in dispute resolution related to administrative decision making is desirable
