About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and professional Assistant Chief Concierge to support the daily operations of our Concierge team. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining brand standards, and fostering a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities - Responsible for greeting and welcoming guests - Acquire extensive knowledge of the premises and the nearby venues and businesses to make the most suitable recommendations - Respond to complaints and find the appropriate solution - Assist in on‑site events such as weddings or corporate meetings. - Support the effective day‑to‑day operations of the Concierge team - Demonstrate proficiency across all Guest Services functions, including butler service, in‑room dining, porterage, and valet. - Provide leadership and guidance to Concierge. - Manage guest requests, bookings, and correspondence with efficiency and professionalism. - Liaise with internal departments to ensure seamless guest experiences, particularly for VIPs and group arrivals. - Assist in service recovery and uphold positive guest and colleague interactions. - Maintain accurate records, logs, and tracking systems in line with hotel policies. Qualifications To be considered for this role the candidate should possess the following: - Previous experiences as a Concierge within a five star hotel or similar environment preferred - Strong knowledge of Sydney’s attractions, restaurants, and services. - Must possess a professional presentation - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to lead by example and support team development.
