Job Title: Mobile Device Management (MDM) Specialist – Microsoft Intune

Contract Type: Full-Time Contract – 3 Months November Start

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Mobile Device Management (MDM) Specialist for a short-term contract to support the rollout of Microsoft Intune across approximately 1,000 iOS and Android devices within a State Government department. Commencing in November, this 3-month full-time engagement will be based on-site in the Adelaide CBD and will see you working closely with the Project Lead and the internal Asset Management Team. You’ll be the subject matter expert for Microsoft Intune, leading the technical implementation of mobile device management in a shared tenancy environment. Your focus will be on configuration, deployment, and handover—ensuring a seamless rollout and sustainable internal capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical implementation of Microsoft Intune MDM for iOS and Android devices.
- Configure and test device profiles, deployment policies, and access controls to ensure secure and consistent device rollout.
- Build and manage a corporate application store to streamline app publishing and control across enrolled devices.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and asset management teams to support operational rollout (note: device handovers are handled separately).
- Develop and deliver comprehensive documentation and structured knowledge transfer to internal teams to support ongoing management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during deployment phases.
Key Skills and Experience
- Proven experience with Microsoft Intune MDM, particularly for iOS and Android platforms in a shared tenancy setup.
- Demonstrated ability to design, configure, and deploy mobile device policies in enterprise environments.
- Experience building and managing corporate app stores within Intune.
- Strong documentation skills and a proactive approach to knowledge transfer and capability uplift.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement ability.
Desirable
- Exposure to Intune for Windows devices is advantageous, though not essential for this project.
