Operations assistant

We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Operations assistant to join an established family business. This is a hands-on role that would be ideal for someone who has experience in a trade background thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping things organized, enjoys hands on challenges and moving efficiently.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting the Operations manager in preparing projects for dispatch,
• Site deliveries where required
• Operating forklifts to move goods safely.
• Assisting tradesman – fitters onsite Using hand and power tools
• Preventative Maintenance checks
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the factory
• Moving materials within the factory and yard as required
• General hand work, assisting other areas within the business as required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Valid forklift license not essential but highly desirable
• Knowledge of procedures and safety regulations.
• Basic computer skills or experience
• Physically fit as manual handling will be involved
• Hand and power tool experience (Highly Desirable)
• Mechanically Minded (Highly Desirable)
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Own Transportation
• Must be able to work the required hours 7am to 4pm.
