Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for network engineering projects.
- Oversee day-to-day project activities, ensuring that milestones are met on time and within budget. Coordinate with network engineers, vendors, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Identify and manage potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and promptly resolve issues to minimize impact on project timelines.
- Serve as the main point of contact for project stakeholders. Provide regular project updates, status reports, and manage expectations effectively.
- Work closely with network engineers to understand technical challenges, manage resource allocation, and ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Ensure project deliverables meet established standards and client requirements through thorough testing, validation, and documentation.
- Maintain detailed records of project progress, decisions, and communications. Prepare final reports and project summaries upon completion.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience managing network engineering or IT infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of network engineering concepts, protocols (e.g., BGP, MPLS, SD-WAN), and hardware (e.g., routers, firewalls, switches).
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification preferred.
- Ability to analyze complex issues, develop actionable solutions, and adapt to changing project demands.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience in stakeholder management.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or equivalent.
- Experience in managing projects with network security components.
- Background in managing projects within sectors such as telecommunications, finance, or government.
- Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
