Expression of Interest – Coastal Infrastructure Engineer

Are you a skilled and solutions-focused Coastal Infrastructure Engineer looking to contribute to meaningful projects in your local community? We’re seeking expressions of interest for roles supporting local government initiatives across Southeast Queensland (SEQ).

About the Role

As a Coastal Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the design, maintenance, and management of coastal infrastructure projects that protect and enhance the region’s coastal environments.

- Designing and managing the delivery of coastal protection and infrastructure projects.
- Conducting assessments, risk analysis, and feasibility studies.
- Monitoring coastal conditions and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to develop sustainable solutions.
- Preparing technical reports, designs, and project documentation.

What We’re Looking For

- Degree in Civil, Coastal, or Environmental Engineering.
- Experience in coastal engineering, asset management, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
