Expression of Interest – Senior Engineer (Stormwater Infrastructure)
Are you an experienced Stormwater Infrastructure Engineer seeking an opportunity to lead impactful projects in your local community? We’re inviting expressions of interest for Senior Engineer (Stormwater Infrastructure) roles with local governments across Southeast Queensland (SEQ).
About the Role
As a Senior Engineer (Stormwater Infrastructure), you will play a key role in managing the design, delivery, and maintenance of stormwater infrastructure to protect communities and enhance environmental sustainability.
1. Leading the planning, design, and implementation of stormwater projects.
2. Conducting hydrological and hydraulic assessments to mitigate flood risks.
3. Ensuring compliance with relevant standards, legislation, and environmental guidelines.
4. Managing asset maintenance, condition assessments, and lifecycle planning.
5. Providing technical advice and collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
6. Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to capacity building.
What We’re Looking For
1. Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or equivalent).
2. Extensive experience in stormwater infrastructure design, assessment, and management.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Knowledge of relevant legislation, guidelines, and best practices.
5. Excellent communication, project management, and leadership abilities.
