At WSP, we're on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Coastal and Maritime Design Engineer to lead transformative coastal infrastructure projects across Australia. From iconic jetties and marinas to resilient seawalls and innovative port facilities, your work will leave a lasting legacy on our shores.

What You'll Do:
- Design Leadership: Lead the design of coastal and maritime infrastructure, including marine and coastal facilities, revetments, and coastal protection structures.
- Project Management: Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, designers, and environmental specialists across Australia and internationally to deliver integrated solutions.
- Technical Excellence: Provide technical leadership, conduct design reviews, and contribute to the development of best practices and design standards.
- Mentorship: Support and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and professional development.
- Business Development: Engage with clients and contribute to proposal development and strategic growth initiatives.
About You:
- A degree in Civil or Coastal Engineering (or related discipline)
- At least 5 years of experience in coastal engineering, ideally in a consulting environment.
- Proven expertise in designing coastal infrastructure, dredging, or port works.
- Strong knowledge of Australian and international design standards.
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and RPEQ registration (or working towards).
- A passion for mentoring and leading high-performing teams.
