Reporting to our finance team lead. you will assist key stakeholders in relation to finance matters across the ANZ region.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:* Financial support in relation to project governance, joint ventures, alliances, financial auding and performance reporting* Assist with the effective and timely financial management and financial reporting of projects* Provide support to all facets of commercial performance to the business* Monitor and adhere to SMEC and SJ Group policies, procedures, systems and controls for all financial processes* Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders**About You**Suitable applicants will be/have:* Degree in Commerce / Accounting related* Experience in a similar Financial Analyst role, within the Professional Services Industry* Understanding of spreadsheets, data analysis and reconciliation procedures* Strong administration and procedural skills* The ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives without supervision when required* Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively within a culturally diverse and multi-disciplinary environment* Intermediate level in Microsoft applications* Intermediate skills in SAP highly regardedIn return, SMEC offers you the benefits that come from working in a global multidisciplinary consultancy in an environment where your fresh ideas and enthusiasm will be welcomed and rewarded.**How to Apply**To apply, click on the "Apply Now" link and follow the prompts.
