About the Opportunity
Join REMONDIS as a Full-time Permanent employee relations manager and make a meaningful impact on our workplace culture. Based in our Mascot office, you'll work within the People & Safety team to support our employees and shape our employment relations strategy.
In this role, you'll be the trusted advisor for both management and staff on all employment matters. You'll lead initiatives that foster positive workplace relationships while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and industry standards.
What You'll Do
- Provide expert guidance on employment law, workplace policies, and industrial relations matters
- Lead employee relations investigations and resolution processes
- Develop and implement HR policies that support our diverse workforce
- Manage enterprise bargaining negotiations and workplace agreements
- Partner with leadership teams to resolve complex workplace issues
- Conduct training sessions on employment relations topics
- Maintain strong relationships with unions and external stakeholders
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Human Resources, Law, Industrial Relations, or related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in employment relations or industrial relations
- Strong knowledge of Fair Work Act and employment legislation
- Experience with enterprise bargaining and workplace negotiations
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Experience in manufacturing or waste management industries preferred
