About the Role
As an Outpatient Administrative Support team member, you will provide essential frontline administrative assistance to the Central Adelaide LHN Outpatient Support Services. Your role is vital in ensuring smooth, efficient and professional operations, supporting patients, staff and the broader outpatient service with confidentiality and care. You’ll be a key point of contact, helping to create a welcoming and well‑organised environment for everyone accessing our services.
This position offers the opportunity to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative and dynamic team. You will utilise your versatile administrative skills across a range of duties, supporting the delivery of high‑quality outpatient services and making a real difference to the patient experience and the efficiency of our healthcare operations.
About You
You are a highly organised and professional administrative professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment. You take pride in delivering accurate, confidential and efficient support while maintaining excellent communication with colleagues, patients and stakeholders. You work well independently, as part of a team, and adapt quickly to new procedures and changing priorities.
- Skilled in providing confidential, high‑quality administrative and customer support
- Experienced in data entry, medical typing, Microsoft Office, and office procedures
- Strong communication, multitasking, and time management skills under pressure
- Knowledgeable in medical terminology, WHS practices and Equal Opportunity principles
