About the Role

Apollo Care is seeking an experienced Group Financial Controller to oversee financial operations across our aged care network. Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a pivotal leadership role responsible for financial reporting, compliance, cash flow management, and supporting strategic growth initiatives.

This is a remote role, offering flexibility while contributing to the financial strength and sustainability of a leading aged care organisation. Occasional travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee financial reporting, compliance, and governance across the group.

- Lead cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis to support decision‑making.

- Partner with the CFO and executive team on strategic initiatives, including M&A, capital projects, and risk management.

- Ensure effective oversight of outsourced bookkeeping and accounting functions.

- Maintain strong internal controls and audit readiness.

About You

We are looking for a values‑driven finance leader who combines technical excellence with strategic insight.

You will bring

- Minimum 7 years’ experience in a senior financial management role (experience in healthcare or aged care desirable, but not essential).

- CPA, CA, or equivalent, with a Master’s in Finance or other advanced qualifications highly regarded.

- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.

- Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

- High‑level analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
