What We Need
CORPAY is currently looking to hire an Account Manager within our Crew Lodging division. This position falls under our TA Connections line of business. In this role, you will join our friendly APAC team as an Account Manager looking after all things related to crew customers. A guru with experience in procurement account management functions as well as hotel and airline experience preferred.
In this role, no two days are the same, this role not only is strategic, but it also has a real time impact on both airline crew and passengers. You’ll need to be a master of juggling several competing priorities, have a real sense of urgency and a great communicator.
The successful candidate must have the unrestricted right to work in Australia, be able to obtain aviation security clearance (ASIC) and hold a current passport to be able to travel freely in and out of Australia.
How We Work
As an Account Manager, you’ll split your time between our client/'s office and from your home or chosen place of work. There’s plenty of travel both internationally and domestic to exciting destinations where you’ll be partaking in inspections, training or well as representing both TA Connections/CORPAY and our clients at events or tradeshows.
As our client is based in Melbourne, you will be required to be based in Melbourne Australia to meet client SLAs of contact time at your own cost.
Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Acting as the key point of contact for customers (internal, airline and suppliers) in your region
- Manage end to end procurement function of accommodation and transport providers for key clients including but not limited to
- Create RFP in internal systems
- Data analysis of offers against requirements/spend
- Managing and conducting site inspections
- Creation and presentation of recommendations
- Manage life of contracted supplier from onboarding to offboarding including but not limited to
- Contract mark up
- Financial analysis
- Training and system set up
- SLA and continuous improvement
- Account/Finance auditing and support
- Tracks and identifies savings and revenue potential in accounts by studying current business and identifying and evaluating additional needs/opportunities.
- Develops account loyalty by making presentations, explaining/ensuring knowledge of products, service enhancements and additions
- Contribute information to account management strategies by evaluating current products results; identify customer’s unmet needs; monitor competitive products; analyse customer reactions and share this knowledge with the Account Management team and leadership.
- Evaluates the results of current products, identifies unmet customer needs, analyses and relays customer reactions and shares all acquired knowledge with the Account Management team and Upper Management.
- Liaise with Operations and support teams to ensure SLA’s are being met
- Learn, understand and participate in the account operation as needed.
- Gather data and prepare deliverables to be shared internally or with client
- Ensures all hotel contractual data is available and accurate on all required systems
- Identify savings and revenue potential in markets
- Effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Manage and meet SLAs including cost savings
- Create a quarterly business review deck and present to airline
- Represent TA Connections / CORPAY at events when required
- Learn and become a SME on our operating systems
- Perform other reasonable job-related duties as required or requested
- Must have the right to live and work in Australia without sponsorship (at least 5 years validity on visa)
- Must hold a valid passport and be able to freely enter and exit Australia
- Be able to gain and hold an ASIC Security Card
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 2 years in an Account Management role
- Previous exposure to software applications, preferably in the airline space
- Ability to work with little supervision and manage your time efficiently
- Previous experience with managing multiple stakeholders
- Passionate, creative and easy to work with
- Flexible, focused, hardworking, driven and goal orientated
- Experience working for an airline, ground handler, hotel or TMC is preferred and will put you to the top of the list
