Full-time Temporary with a Possibility of Permanency
Details: Are you a highly organised and proactive administrator looking to contribute to meaningful work in the ACT health system? We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic team member to join our small, high-performing team within the Office of the Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer (OCNMO).
This position provides essential administrative support across a range of functions. You’ll play a key role in supporting business operations, coordinating meetings and events, managing communications, and maintaining records and reporting systems.
We’re seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings a can-do attitude. You’ll demonstrate strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and confidence in managing competing priorities effectively. Experience in high-level administrative support, proficiency with Microsoft 365 and records management programs, and excellent written and verbal communications skills are essential.
You’ll be part of a collaborative and innovative team, with opportunities for learning and development in a supportive environment, allowing you to grow professionally while contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the OCNMO.

Eligibility/Other requirements: Prior to commencement, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.
Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately until 14 January 2026 with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency.
A merit pool may be established from this selection process to be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
This position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
