Set to open this spring, Grill Americano is Sydney's most anticipated restaurant. Blending old-world European elegance with a contemporary edge to deliver a refined and immersive dining experience, Grill Americano aims to bring a new level of sophisticated dining to Sydney's culinary scene.
About the Opportunity
We are looking for the industry’s best chefs to join our opening team in Sydney on a full-time basis.
Opportunities available:
- Chef de Partie
- Commis Chef
The Ideal Candidate Must Have
- Chef experience in a premium a-la-carte restaurant
- Experience with Italian cuisine is advantageous
- Management candidates must have solid understanding of management practices and financial budgets/targets
- Exemplary leadership with focus on staff development
- Demonstrated experience in leading a high-performing team
- Highly adaptable and able to perform in high-pressure service periods
- Solid understanding of food safety standards
- Proven ability in building effective relationships
- Organisational and time management skills
- Experience using Deputy (or similar Time & Attendance system), H&L, and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent communication and presentation
- Able and willing to work weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shifts
- Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
