Our innovative products are already loved by over 200 of the world’s leading brands including L’Oréal, Woolies, Coca-Cola, Lion and Nike. As we continue to grow our position in legal tech, we have big plans for our products' future, incorporating AI to drive further growth and innovation.

We set the bar high, are outcome-focused and avoid anything that gets in the way of achieving great results. We embrace change, as there are no maps for our journey ahead. This is an exciting opportunity for those who thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Technology Consultant (AI & Automation) to help drive measurable operational efficiency and future-proof how we work. This role will sit at the intersection of process design, AI integration, and business transformation. You’ll diagnose bottlenecks, design scalable automation solutions, and embed intelligent workflows across our teams—unlocking time, focus, and value.

Responsibilities

- You will map current systems, tooling, and workflows across teams to identify inefficiencies, handoffs, and repetitive manual tasks.
- You’ll work with stakeholders to uncover friction points and define automation opportunities with clear, measurable impact.
- You’ll build and implement automation tools or integrations that streamline business processes, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with our broader tech ecosystem.
- You will collaborate with functional leaders to ensure new solutions meet operational needs and are adopted effectively across the business.
- You’ll embed AI into existing workflows by integrating intelligent task automation into systems like Jira, Confluence, and Slack to boost velocity and reduce cognitive load.
- You’ll create reusable templates, playbooks, and frameworks to support teams in scaling automation initiatives independently.
- You will lead enablement sessions and workshops to build internal capability and confidence around AI and automation best practices.
- You’ll provide ongoing support post-deployment to ensure long-term success and continuous improvement of solutions.
- You’ll measure and report on the performance impact of your initiatives, including cycle time reduction, improved team satisfaction, and increased focus on high-value work.
- You will continuously refine and iterate on automation solutions based on team feedback and performance data.

Your background

- Deep understanding of AI, LLMs, automation tooling, and how to rapidly prototype functional solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to map processes end-to-end and build intelligent systems that reduce waste.
- Technically capable—comfortable building, testing, and iterating on your own where needed.
- Can work across functions and communicate clearly, translating business problems into simple solutions.
- A curious operator who’s passionate about continuous improvement and scaling what works.
- Has strong stakeholder and change management skills—you’re great at getting buy-in and bringing others along for the ride.

Why Plexus?

- Take ownership: Manage processes and influence our growth goals.
- Work at pace: We’re a growth start-up so we can build and iterate quickly.
- Create difference: Identify and implement positive change.
- Key role, massive impact: Be a key advocate and champion for us in the market.
- Grow with us: Own your career path and influence Plexus' future.
- Mentorship matters: Learn from a supportive and experienced manager.
- Hybrid Work Model: Three days in, two from wherever
- Career development: Many of our team members have been promoted from within.

Plexus is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome and encourage applications from all backgrounds, communities and industries, and are committed to having a diverse team who, together, will kick huge, exciting and impactful goals.
