City of Melbourne, Australia Siemens Mobility Full time

Overview

At Siemens, we’re accelerating the transformation of our energy systems, and our Electrification and Automation (EA) Service team is at the forefront of that mission. We're looking for a seasoned Project Manager to lead multiple customer service projects across Australia, focusing on the installation, commissioning, upgrades, and maintenance of medium-voltage electrical systems.

This is a dynamic role, best suited to a technically strong Project Manager, with a proven background in managing field service projects - someone who thrives on managing high-volume, short-cycle projects and enjoys balancing technical excellence with operational delivery.

What you’ll be doing:

Responsibilities

- Lead a portfolio of medium-voltage electrification service projects, including installations, retrofits, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects – this isn’t one project over 12 months, it’s 10+ running simultaneously with differing timelines.
- Work closely with customers to define project scope, advise on technical solutions, and negotiate variations.
- Coordinate project teams, internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and site resources to ensure efficient execution.
- Drive adherence to project milestones, quality standards, and budget targets.
- Communicate regularly with customers and internal teams to ensure alignment, resolve challenges, and deliver exceptional outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with Siemens’ global PM standards, EHS guidelines, tax, export control, and all regulatory requirements.

What we’re looking for

- Proven project management experience delivering technical field service projects in the electrical/electrification space.
- A solid understanding of medium-voltage systems and experience in installation, commissioning, or maintenance environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple service projects simultaneously – you’re organised, adaptable, and calm under pressure.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with a collaborative, customer-first mindset.
- Qualifications in Engineering (Electrical or similar) and/or Project Management will be highly regarded.

This role is vacant due to an internal promotion – and that says everything about the career pathways at Siemens. When you join us, you’re not just stepping into a job, you’re opening the door to long-term opportunities across a global technology leader.

Benefits

- Professional growth: We invest in your development – from mentorship to global training programs.
- Innovative work: You’ll be part of projects that shape the future of electrification and automation.
- A strong team: Work alongside industry experts who are passionate, supportive, and solution-driven.
- Global impact: Siemens operates in over 190 countries – your future is as wide as your ambition.

Equal opportunity

At Siemens, we value the unique combination of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives that every individual brings to our team. We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer, committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels empowered to thrive.
