Process Operator

About this Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Processing Operator to join the team in Harvey. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for processing and pasteurising milk and dairy products.

You will have a strong focus on quality and safety and be able to work as part of an effective team. You will have proactive and positive attitude with the ability to deliver high quality work. Previous experience in machine or process operation such as pasteurisation, homogenisers and separators, in the food industry is highly regarded, but not essential.

Key responsibilities of the role

- Operate pasteurisers, homogenisers, and separators
- Maintain hygiene and perform CIP cleaning of equipment
- Complete quality and safety documentation accurately
- Formulate dairy products to meet specifications
- Minimise waste and report faults or defective products
- Support product development and processing trials

The successful candidate will have

- Experience in machine or process operations, ideally in the food or dairy industry.
- Solid understanding of GMP and HACCP principles.
- Basic knowledge of SAP and CITEC (desirable, not essential).
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities.
- High attention to detail and clear communication skills.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
