We are looking for a Principal Electrical and Instrumentation Designerto join our growing team.

Your Key Responsibilities

- Manage and provide support to the project team to ensure compliance with all applicable legislation, standards, and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with the project team, clients and to other project stakeholders.
- Produce discipline specific deliverables that meet Primero Groups, the client’s and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee project drafting deliverables ensuring quality, schedule and integrity requirements are met.
- Ensure effective communication to the entire E&I team regarding changes and updates to workflows and guidelines.
- Review and provide feedback on vendor drawings and interdisciplinary design data.

What You ‘Can Do’

- 12+years experience as an Electrical Designer.
- Electrical and instrumentation design experience of industrial plants, refineries, or infrastructure in the mining/minerals processing or oil and gas industries.
- Previous experience leading a team and managing resource allocation.
- Previous experience and a willingness to check drawings.
- Understanding of statutory and industry regulations and HSE practices.
- Knowledge and practical application of design theories, principles and practices.
- The ability to work efficiently and effectively within a multi-discipline team environment.
- Keen eye for detail and a systematic approach to producing deliverables.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
