The Job Description
The responsibilities of the role will include but may not be limited to the following:
- Previous experience and the ability to prepare, evaluate, and manage the tender and proposal process. This may include but is not limited to general tender documentation, pricing submissions, negotiations, term and conditions reviews etc.
- The ability to review variations to regular standard terms and conditions and prepare responses as required to mitigate risk and liability whilst simultaneously achieving favourable commercial outcomes predominantly with Main Roads.
- Maintain the validity of live contracts which may include but is not limited to variations, claims, supplier performance reviews, pricing reviews etc.
- Ideally qualifications or equivalent experience within finance, engineering, or quantity surveying.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated experience dealing with Main Roads WA as a client on previous infrastructure projects.
- Previous end-to-end contract management experience, particularly in relation to civil and infrastructure projects.
- Relevant qualifications in contract management, construction, or a related field.
- Previous exposure or the ability to commute to site-based environments or engage in a FIFO roster.
