About Us
Abergeldie is a locally owned contractor with 30 years’ industry experience in Australia and New Zealand. We design and deliver projects in the Water, Bridges, Transport, Underground, Energy and Remediation industry sectors.

About The Opportunity
We are looking for experienced Senior Contract Administrators, Contract Administrators and Quantity Surveyors to support the commercial delivery of major civil infrastructure projects across Sydney/Greater Sydney. In this role, you will oversee the full lifecycle of contract administration and quantity surveying—from procurement and negotiation through to variations, claims, and close-out. Your ability to manage commercial risk and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders will be key to ensuring our projects run smoothly and profitably.
Responsibilities
- Leading end-to-end contract administration/quantity surveying across civil infrastructure projects
- Managing procurement, subcontractor agreements and contract negotiations
- Administering variations, extensions of time (EOTs) and claims
- Supporting project forecasting, budgeting and commercial reporting
- Preparing and reviewing contractual correspondence, progress claims, and payment schedules in accordance with relevant legislation
- Collaborating closely with project managers, site teams and commercial leads to ensure contractual compliance and cost control
What You/'ll Bring to the Team
- Proven experience in contract administration or quantity surveying within infrastructure or civil construction projects
- Experience both Upstream and Downstream
- Strong working knowledge of construction contracts (e.g. GC21) and relevant legislation
- Strong commercial and analytical skills, with a focus on risk mitigation
- Clear communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
These are permanent full-time positions.
