The story of Toby's Estate began in 1997. In Woolloomooloo, armed with Mum’s garage, a beat-up coffee roaster and passion on tap, we set out on a wild adventure of business and coffee discovery. Not concerned with the frills, we focused on roasting the tastiest coffee we could and treating all the people in our world like family. Fast forward 26 years, we’re an energetic team united by a common passion for doing amazing things and at the forefront of pushing the limits of premium specialty coffee.

The role

Are you passionate about coffee and looking for an exciting opportunity to be part of a thriving coffee business? Join our team as a Production Assistant on a casual basis in our state-of-the-art roastery and contribute to creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who is eager to learn and grow within the coffee industry.

Responsibilities

- Communicate the volume of coffee beans required for extra roasting to the Roasters based on pack list information.

- Manage stock and ensure replenishment as necessary.

- Perform production duties such as operating machinery, completing documentation, and general manufacturing tasks.

- Conduct stock takes and inventory control.

- Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to good manufacturing practices.

- Collaborate within a production team.

About you

- You’ll have an eye for details and a willingness to embrace new knowledge.

- Others regard you as a team player who readily accepts challenges and consistently prioritises quality assurance.

- Previous production and machine operation experience in the FMCG space is essential.
