Overview

Flying Bark Productions is a dynamic and innovative animation studio dedicated to pushing the boundaries of character animation and storytelling. We are working on exciting projects such as Avatar: The Last Airbender feature film, Netflix's Ghostbusters animated series and Stranger Things animated series, as well as our production Tales From Outer Suburbia by Shaun Tan.

Role

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Coordinator is dedicated to a specific department and contributes to the successful organisation and production of the film. Working in tandem with the department supervisor assigned, ensuring the smooth running of the work of the department and the timely delivery to the following departments.

About you

- At least 4+ years of production coordination experience in CG animated film/episodic;

- Must have solid experience in coordinating for the asset/design, lighting/comp or animation departments in animated environment;

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Shotgrid;

- The ability to deal with Confidential information and material in a discrete and professional manner at all times;

- Excellent diary management skills;

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

- Patient and empathetic nature while dealing with artistic personalities;

- High level organizational skills;

- Experience in administration and managing files, producing and formatting documents and updating spreadsheets;

- A good level of formatting and document preparation and presentation skills desirable;

- The ability to work to deadlines and under pressure;

- Be available, proactive and a problem solver;

- A flexible approach and able to take on extra tasks when required.
