About the Role:

Are you ready to lead mission-critical identity infrastructure that enables teams to innovate securely and at scale? We're on the lookout for a Technical Lead – Identity Platforms to guide the design, delivery, and ongoing evolution of our authentication and authorisation systems.
Sitting at the crossroads of security, scalability, and developer experience, this role plays a key part in our digital transformation journey. You’ll be both a hands-on technical expert and a supportive leader, helping drive best practice, coach engineers, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver robust, secure, and efficient solutions. This role is at the forefront of our digital transformation efforts, championing the adoption of modern identity solutions and secure-by-design principles across the organisation, enabling a safer and more agile technology ecosystem.
What you'll be doing
- Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team, providing technical guidance and people leadership.
- Design and maintain scalable, reliable identity systems that enable seamless and secure user experiences.
- Champion engineering excellence through best practices, clean code, system health, and automation.
- Partner with Product, Design, Architecture, and other technical leaders to shape and deliver the roadmap.
What we are looking for
- Experience leading engineering teams, with a background in platform or security engineering.
- Strong technical knowledge in identity and access management (IAM), including authentication and authorisation systems.
- Ability to influence and collaborate across functions and technical domains.
- A growth mindset with a passion for clean, secure, and efficient solutions.
- Familiarity with industry security and privacy frameworks, and a pragmatic approach to applying them.
