Experienced Business Development Manager, 5 - 10 years' experience in the large & Small-scale Fit-out sector with a proven track record of success.

My client is a nationally recognised construction business with offices in all major metropolitan areas nationally. The business offers fit-out, refurbishment and infrastructure upgrades across all sectors. They have developed a strong client network across the industry by delivering high quality, functional spaces with top tier service and transparency. They take a very careful and considered approach to the people they bring on board to maintain and build on an empowering and collaborative culture where people are encouraged and supported in their career aspirations.

Description

Your roles and responsibilities will include:

- Identifying market segments in which the business can grow and operate
- Manage existing client relationships
- Attend industry specific events
- Promote the business within existing networks while continuing to expand network
- Report regularly while maintaining open communication with management within the business

Profile

The ideal candidate will:

- Experience in a similar business development role within the construction space
- Solve problems effectively and independently
- Be self-motivated, passionate and solution-oriented
- Work ethically and in accordance with compliance policies and procedures
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders including operation and management teams
