Overview

As a Senior Educator at Goodstart, you'll take charge of your own room, leading a team of dedicated Educators to deliver exceptional educational programs. You'll collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team and the Educational Leader to observe, inform, and continuously improve our teaching practices. Your commitment to safety and inclusivity ensures that every learning experience is tailored to meet the needs of all children.

About Goodstart Thurgoona

- 90 places in centre
- Rated exceeding NQS
- Operating 6:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday
- Extra large playground - with sandpits, fort, garden beds, mud kitchen, boat, tan bark area, bike track, undercover verandah and lots of shade

Responsibilities

- Lead the room and a team of Educators to deliver high-quality educational programs
- Collaborate with Centre Leadership Team and Educational Leader to observe, inform, and improve teaching practices
- Uphold safety and inclusivity, tailoring learning experiences to meet diverse needs

Qualifications

- Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Current NSW Working with Children Check
