Position

As a Senior Educator at Goodstart, you'll take charge of your own room, leading a team of dedicated Educators to deliver exceptional educational programs. You'll collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team and the Educational Leader to observe, inform, and continuously improve our teaching practices. Your commitment to safety and inclusivity ensures that every learning experience is tailored to meet the needs of all children.

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage your own room and a team of Educators

- Deliver high-quality educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework

- Collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team and Educational Leader to observe, inform, and improve teaching practices

- Ensure safety and inclusivity in all learning experiences

About Goodstart Morningside - Wynnum Road

- Prime Location: Located in the heart of Morningside on Wynnum Road, with a bus stop right outside

- Diversity: Many educators speak multiple languages

- Languages: Spanish, Gujarati, Greek, Mandarin, Filipino dialects of Visayan, Tagalog, Ilonggo, Hindi and sign language (English and Makaton)

- Environment: Purpose-built childcare centre catering for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years

Requirements

- Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)

- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

- Current QLD Blue Card
