The Firm & The Role

Our client is one of Australia's leading corporate law firms and has grown and flourished over the last few years. This firm is known for thinking outside of the box and providing a commercial and holistic approach to their legal services. The firm has a stellar client base and acts for all industry sectors including government agencies.

Due to growth, the firm is looking to recruit an experienced corporate/commercial lawyer (at the Lawyer or Associate level) to assist institutional clients in the health, aged care, home based care, disability and community sectors.

A flavour of the work will include:

- mergers and acquisitions within the health and aged care sectors
- corporate advisory and commercial work
- advising on regulatory requirements
- advising on privacy and data breaches
- corporate governance
- advising clients on risk management

About You

The ideal candidate will:

- either be at the Lawyer or Associate level
- have strong commercial skills and a commercial approach to their work
- have the ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment
- ability to foster strong relationships with clients
- have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- have the ability to be creative and think outside the box
