Why Join wayss? - Full-time position based in the Southern Melbourne area - Hybrid work flexibility – work from home up to 1 day per week - Professional development and career advancement opportunities - Inclusive and diverse team environment - A workplace that encourages creativity and innovative thinking - Salary range: $100,776 to $105,340 (SCHADS Level 5) - Generous salary packaging benefits up to $15,900 per annum - Five weeks annual leave About the Role As a Specialist Family Violence Practitioner, you will provide intake and crisis-managed support to victim survivors of family violence, helping them navigate risk and safety while building the skills to live independently and free from violence. Key responsibilities - Conducting MARAM risk assessments and safety planning - Providing brief intervention support and case management - Advocating for clients and connecting them with appropriate services - Collaborating with external agencies to ensure holistic support - Participating in after-hours on-call roster and ongoing professional development About You You’re a compassionate and skilled professional with: - A relevant tertiary qualification in social work or related discipline (or willingness to obtain) (Compliant with Family Violence minimum qualifications Rec 209) - Experience in the family violence sector (highly desirable) - Strong capability in risk assessment, safety planning, and advocacy - Resilience and empathy to support clients exposed to trauma - Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills - A current Driver’s Licence and Working with Children Check (Employment category) - Willingness to undergo wayss pre-employment screening, including a police and identity check How to Apply Applications close 23 September 2025 but may close earlier if a suitable candidate is found.
