Position Profile The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) is seeking a skilled Business Analyst – Purchasing Pathway to join our Procurement and Contract Management team and support the efficient and compliant procurement of goods and services - including community services, ICT, and infrastructure works - in alignment with WA Health and State Government policy. As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with operational, clinical, and finance teams across CAHS and apply your analytical, commercial, and strategic expertise to optimise purchasing processes and contract management. Your work will help ensure purchasing decisions deliver value, and support improved governance, compliance, and effective use of public funds. This is a unique opportunity to gain broad exposure to health service operations and develop advanced procurement and contract management experience. You will play an active role in driving procurement reform and innovation across CAHS by educating business areas, facilitating the use of compliant purchasing pathways, improving contract accuracy, reducing leakage, and supporting business areas to meet evolving service needs. Key responsibilities include: - Facilitating compliant and efficient procurement of goods and services. - Developing, managing, and monitoring complex contracts, including performance and compliance reporting. - Analysing procurement data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement within specific portfolio areas. - Providing expert advice on purchasing pathways and best practice contract management. - Driving compliance with Government and WA Health policy, auditing and reporting on purchasing practices. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and other Health Service Providers. If you have sound experience in procurement, contract formulation, and tender analysis, together with a practical mindset and the ability to communicate effectively and support stakeholders at all levels, we encourage you to apply.
