About the role
Are you a detail driven professional who enjoys working with data and systems? Do you thrive in fast paced environments and love delivering accurate results on time? We are on the lookout for a JuniorPayroll Officer to join our Shellharbour team. This is more than a numbers job; it is an opportunity to be part of a mission driven organisation making a real difference in the Community Services sector.
In this hands-on role, you will manage high volume payroll operations, supporting approximately 1,000 casual staff weekly and help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
Responsibilities
- Processing accurate and timely weekly payroll
- End-of-month and end-of-year payroll balancing and reporting
- Managing STP submissions and superannuation lodgements
- Handling terminations, adjustments, and classification changes
- Maintaining accurate personnel and client data in systems
- Assisting the Payroll Manager and supporting team members
- Weekly invoice processing for several clients
- Using platforms such as Salesforce, Sirenum, and 2CloudNine
