Overview
We are looking for passionate graduates, who want to make a real difference in the lives of those they treat, to join our two-year Graduate Program.
You’ll work with a team of dedicated allied health professionals, supporting your clients on their journey to return to work and return to life after physical or psychological injury.
Everyday can look different at APM ... but as a Graduate Occupational Therapist, you will be:
- Completing office-based and vehicle ergonomic assessments
- Activities of Daily Living assessments for equipment or household services prescription
- Conducting worksite assessments to interpret the physical demands and environment your client may work in and to understand what duties they can complete to achieve their short-term and long-term return-to-work goals
- Completing functional capacity evaluations
- Collaborating with other health practitioners (including other Allied Health professionals, GPs and Surgeons) through case conferencing
- Organising rehabilitation activities for your client incl. Pilates, Hydrotherapy, etc.
- Reviewing and analysing medical reports e.g. MRIs, X-Rays, etc.

- Hold a degree in Occupational Therapy
- Be eligible for AHPRA membership, upon graduating
- Graduating in 2025
- Pass a national criminal check, prior to commencing employment
- Have full Australian working rights
- Hold a full drivers’ license, your own vehicle and comprehensive insurance
