Sandrino, a much-loved café and pizzeria located in the heart of Fremantle, is seeking a passionate and skilled Cook to join our dynamic team. We pride ourselves on delivering fresh, high-quality dishes with a focus on authentic flavours and excellent customer experience. As a Cook at Sandrino, you will play a key role in preparing and presenting a variety of dishes to a high standard. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency in all aspects of kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a wide range of menu items, including pizzas, pastas, and café-style dishes.
- Maintain high standards of food presentation and quality.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising food wastage.
- Collaborate effectively with other kitchen and front-of-house staff.
- Contribute to a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment.

Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum 1-2 year of proven experience as a Cook in a busy kitchen.
- Relevant qualifications in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Salary: $75,000–$85,000
