The Role

We have been awarded major ongoing security contracts and as we continue to grow, we need another Draftsperson to join our Team on a full-time or part-time basis – our workplace promotes flexibility, you decide

This is a key role within our organisation and incorporates several responsibilities including, but not limited to:

- Using AutoCAD LT 2023, Base layout plan drafting, drafting building and structure outlines, locations of internal security, cabling runs, electrical, civil and trenching, location drawings
- O&M Manual draft writing and final creation for client submission
- Liaise with relevant Team Members and Stakeholders
- Confidently make decisions and explain design concepts to non-technical personnel
- Potential attendance to project meetings and/or sites to review and develop plans
- Project and Drawing register management and Updates
- Management of Draft, For Construction and As Built drawings
- Management of the ITP process, Completion Sign-Offs and submissions
- Design Briefs

About You

To succeed in this role, we would expect you to have the following credentials, capabilities and qualities:

- You may be an engineering, architecture or drafting graduate with appropriate Autodesk (AutoCAD LT) experience
- Autodesk (AutoCAD LT) software training and/or experience is required
- Experience in commercial drafting is preferred, but not essential
- Project administration experience would be an advantage, but not essential
- South Australian Drivers Licence
- Police Check Certificate
- White Card is preferred, but not essential
- Eye for detail and able to read plans and schematics effectively
- Proficient IT skills, including Windows and Microsoft Office 365
- Ability to work effectively unsupervised and as part of a Team
- Prioritise tasks and deliver works within appropriate time frames
- High attention to detail, organised, professional, reliable and well presented
- An understanding of Work Health and Safety requirements
- Willing to learn new technologies and undergo training
