Job Overview

We are taking applications from Medical Practitioners for roles based in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, 590 kilometres inland of Perth, Australia’s largest outback city with a population of more than 30,000 people. We are seeking a skilled and experienced doctor to provide a wide range of clinical services, including aeromedical retrieval, telemedicine, flying medical clinics and indigenous health.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive clinical care across a range of settings, including aeromedical retrieval, telehealth, flying clinics, and indigenous community health. Manage critically ill and injured patients, perform procedural skills relevant to critical care, and contribute to regional and remote medical practice.

Qualifications and Experience

- Registered, or able to register, as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)

- A minimum of five years of postgraduate experience

- Significant experience in emergency medicine, anaesthesia, and acute paediatrics

- Ability to independently manage critically ill and injured patients, including procedural skills relevant to critical care medicine

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- ACEM/ANZCA/CICM/FACRRM or FRACGP or equivalent, or experienced career medical officers

- Obstetric experience

- Primary health care experience

- Experience in pre‑hospital or retrieval medicine

- Experience in regional or remote medical practice
