Together, these services advance the reform directions arising from the Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health and Wellbeing System, providing trauma-informed, gender-safe, and family-inclusive care that integrates clinical and lived experience expertise.

- Establish Participation & Outcomes – Develop sustainable mechanisms for carer participation, representation, and feedback, and co-design outcome measures to evaluate the impact of carer lived experience roles on safety, quality, and recovery outcomes.
- Grow the Workforce – Support recruitment, mentoring, supervision, and professional pathways for the Carer Lived Experience workforce, ensuring discipline-specific supervision and ongoing supports are in place.
- Governance & Reform – Contribute to clinical governance forums, co-author guidance, and help operationalise reform priorities such as trauma-informed, family-inclusive, and evidence-informed practice.
