Build digital experiences that matter

Sydney Water is seeking a talented Full Stack Front-End Developer to help deliver high-impact digital solutions that enhance customer experience and service delivery. You’ll work across modern tech stacks to design, develop, and optimise applications that are secure, scalable, and user-focused.

What you’ll do:

- Develop and enhance front-end applications on Spatial Platform with seamless back-end integration using APIs.
- Deliver clean, responsive, and accessible user interfaces.
- Ensure high-quality code aligned with industry and Sydney Water standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive customer-centric outcomes.
- Passion for design, performance, and usability.
- Experience in agile environments, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes.

About you

- Tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- Strong front-end skills with full stack capability.
- Solid understanding of modern web standards—semantic HTML, CSS, nodeJS and data handling.
- Proven ability to design and deliver end-to-end solutions with clean architecture and modular design.
- Familiarity with architectural patterns and broader digital technology domains.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust, influence and communicate effectively, and in establishing strong, productive relationships.
