Zenith Energy Limited is a Well Engineering Consultancy and Project Management company providing a range of specialist services to the Oil and Gas Industry. We are an independent company, owned and managed by Engineers, with a core team behind us that are experienced and respected within the Industry. Our multi-disciplined team include Drilling Manager, Well Team Leader, Senior Drilling Engineers and Drilling Engineers all based together in our Aberdeen office.
Zenith and our people bring vast experience and skills to any project we are involved in. We are experienced in land drilling, jack-ups, semis and drill ships and our personnel have worked in the UK, Norway, West Africa and the Falklands. We have experience in normal pressure wells, HPHT wells, Horizontal wells and Deep Water wells and working closely with both Drilling Contractors and Service Companies internationally.
In addition to our core team, we have access to a pool of experienced Well Engineering personnel covering, Completions, Well Testing, Offshore Supervisors, Subsea and Logistics and Contracts specialists.
Job Description
Expressions of Interest – Drilling Supervisor / Wellsite Supervisor (Onshore – Land Based)
Location: Brisbane, QLD (FIFO / DIDO options for regional sites)
Work Type: Contract (Field-Based Rotational)
Industry: Oil & Gas / Onshore Drilling Operations
Zenith Energy is calling for expressions of interest from experienced Drilling Supervisors / Wellsite Supervisors / Company Men with a background in onshore drilling operations. We anticipate a ramp-up of land-based activity across Queensland and are building a strong pipeline of field-ready professionals to support upcoming campaigns.
This is not a live role but a forward-looking opportunity to register your interest in future field-based supervisory positions.
About the Opportunity
Zenith partners with operators and drilling contractors to deliver safe and efficient well delivery across Australia. We're seeking expressions of interest from professionals with experience in:
Land-based oil and gas drilling operations
Day-to-day supervision of rig site activities
Contractor and service company management
HSE leadership and assurance
Drilling and completions program execution
Field reporting and logistics coordination
Who We’re Looking For
10+ years’ experience in onshore drilling, with at least 3+ years as a Drilling Supervisor or Company Man
Strong working knowledge of wellsite operations and rig-based activities
IWCF or Well Control Certificate (Supervisory Level)
Familiarity with QLD-specific land access, regulatory, and environmental frameworks
Proven ability to lead field operations and maintain safety and performance standards
Available for upcoming FIFO or DIDO rosters from Brisbane
