**Description**:
PT Redpath Indonesia have been contracting at Freeport site for over 40yrs, UG tunnel development, mechanized Alimak raising, Raiseboring, construction, mass excavation, etc. We are seeking to strengthen our team at site and it is the reason we are advertising this position.

**Location**: Tembagapura, Papua, Indonesia

**Rotation**: 8 weeks on, 4 weeks off

**Shift Length**: 11 hours

**Compensation**: Redpath offers a comprehensive wage and benefit package

**Travel**: Flights provided from point of hire to job site

**Conditions of Employment**:Successful completion of pre-employment medical and substance abuse test

**Accommodations**: Camp setting

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Drilling production rings/drawbells and service holes
- Identify and remedy/follow procedures with misfires and areas of pre loaded explosives in production work areas
- Conduct prestart checks of equipment and drill site
- Monitor and operate the drill rig for safety and optimal performance
- Read and follow worksheets and drill pattern
- Stop/correct/report any hazards at the work place and pass on all relevant information to supervisor and cross shift

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Be safety-focused and have a positive can-do attitude;
- Be highly driven to achieve project targets, safely and efficiently;
- 5 years or more experience with Sandvik Production Drill machine in underground mining fields
- Good mechanical skills (advantageous)
