About theRole

We’re looking forsafety-conscious, skilled operators to join the team atBunge’s Port Adelaide terminal. A variety of roles areavailable, offering hands-on involvement in our grain storage,logistics, and export operations. These roles are well-suited toindividuals who enjoy practical, outdoor work, have an eye fordetail, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.You’ll be responsible for safely operating a range ofmachinery and equipment critical to grain handling, quality, andmovement.

As part of the role, youmay also undertake authorised officer responsibilities, supportinginspection and compliance processes for grain exports. In addition,some positions involve working in the control room, where basiccomputer skills are essential to monitor and manage siteoperations.

KeyResponsibilities

- Operateequipment: Safely and efficiently operate machinerysuch as forklifts, front-end loaders, and other equipment usedfor loading and unloading grain trucks.
- Ensure grainquality: Conduct grain classification and qualitycontrol procedures to maintain high productstandards.
- Supportexport operations: Assist with bulk grain outturning,including ship loading, container packing, and coordination ofroad transport logistics.
- Work in thecontrol room: Monitor and manage grain movement andsite activities using basic computer systems to ensure smoothand accurate operations.
- PerformAuthorised Officer duties: Undertake inspection,sampling, and documentation tasks to ensure grain meetsrequired export standards and compliance protocols.
- Maintainstorage facilities: Ensure bunkers, silos, and storageareas are clean, well-organised, and meet hygiene and safetyrequirements.
- Lead andsupport teams: Provide guidance and on-the-job supportto seasonal workers during peak periods, contributing to a safeand efficient team environment.
- Monitorinfrastructure: Check the condition of tarps, bunkers,and other storage infrastructure to support ongoing operationalreadiness.
- Carry outgeneral maintenance: Assist with routine equipmentupkeep, pest control, and site hygiene tasks to support overallterminal efficiency.
