About the role
We are growing our team and looking for a passionate Occupational Therapistto join our LifeWorks service based in our beautiful Townsville team. This role is part of a multidisciplinary teamthat supports people to achieve social and economic participation in their community.*New Graduates and experienced Therapists welcomed to apply*Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with a range of stakeholders within a therapeutic support framework.
- Tailoring services that are individualised & strength based.
- Develop, implement and review therapy needs, intervention plans and strategies with clients, family, carers, and their service providers.
- Conduct and complete reports as required
About you
Youare a passionateOccupational Therapist looking to make a positive impact in the community.Essential criteria:
- Degree qualified and registered as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
- Experienced working with a variety of disabilities, including those that require complex supports.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in the development and implementation of occupational therapy assessment and intervention strategies in a disability context.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Current driver's license and reliable vehicle
