Rehabilitation Consultant Opportunity

A challenging role has become available for a highly motivated and skilled professional to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with clients, empowering them to regain their independence and achieve their goals in life and work.

The Rehabilitation Consultant will be responsible for undertaking assessments relevant to their discipline, developing and implementing effective rehabilitation plans, and designing intervention programs using occupation to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Undertake assessments relevant to your discipline to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans.
  • Design and implement intervention programs using occupation to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity.
  • Identify barriers and design, implement, and monitor programs that support people to achieve maximal work participation.
  • Understand various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empower clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals.
  • Liaise with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Requirements:
  • AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Willingness to learn and positively impact people's lives.
  • Ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey.
  • Commitment to a high level of customer service.
  • Current driver's license and access to own vehicle.
  • Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
