Community Support Worker – Northern Beaches (SIL Houses)

The Role

We’re looking for passionate individuals to join our team in Supported Independent Living (SIL) houses across the Northern Beaches. You’ll be working on a 24-hour roster, providing support day, evening, and overnight to ensure our clients live as independently and joyfully as possible.

Your responsibilities

- Supporting clients to develop and maintain independence, and advocating for their individual needs

- Delivering personalised support including mealtimes, personal care, administering medication, and safe manual handling using a variety of equipment and aids

- Transporting clients in wheelchair-accessible vans and pool cars, and supporting community access and activities

- Monitoring client wellbeing and reporting on progress so we can celebrate successes and provide the right support when needed

What You’ll Need

- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent

- A big heart, patience, and a sense of humour

- Flexibility to work across a 24-hour roster (including sleepovers/overnights)

- A driver’s licence (knowledge of the Northern Beaches area is a bonus)
