About Us

You are organised, a team player, and committed to building healthier, stronger communities.
To be successful, you will demonstrate:
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse groups.
- Cultural competency and sensitivity, particularly when working with Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, and culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
- Ability to engage with individuals, families, and groups through events, outreach, and conversations.
- Active listening, empathy, and the ability to provide appropriate support and referrals.
- Organisational and time management skills to plan and prioritise work.
- Ability to document engagement activities, maintain accurate records, and report outcomes.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills to support colleagues and communicate with stakeholders.
- Digital literacy to use communication platforms, maintain records, and support reporting.
- Commitment to providing accurate and current community information.
Please note that a satisfactory police check is required for all staff and those with client related responsibilities are required to provide a NDIS and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
As an equal opportunity employer, CHL works closely with people from a diverse range of backgrounds. CHL acknowledges the traditional Aboriginal owners of country throughout Australia and we pay our respects to them, their culture and their Elders past and present.
Apply today and be part of a team where your work really matters.
If you/'re ready to take on this exciting opportunity and contribute to our mission, we want to hear from you
