With a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation, we are seeking a System Support Specialist on a 12-month fixed-term contract to play a key role in supporting, enhancing and governing our procurement technology landscape.
The Role
As the System Support Specialist, you will support the development, deployment, governance, and continuous improvement of procurement systems across the Procure to Pay (P2P) lifecycle. Your work will ensure seamless integration across Upstream and Downstream procurement processes, empowering our teams to operate more efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the build, testing, implementation, and governance of procurement system solutions across Strategic, Tactical, and Operational procurement processes.
- Manage and resolve Level 2 complex technical and process escalations from users and our Level 1 support team.
- Provide system interrogation and advice to end users, enabling resolution of system issues.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Analyse workflows and develop process maps to identify improvement opportunities.
- Work with software and architecture teams to recommend sustainable solutions and raise change requests when required.
- Promote procurement process understanding and compliance across the business.
- Support the delivery of key procurement improvement projects as part of the Group/'s continuous improvement strategy.
- Maintain open and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong technical knowledge of SAP systems, particularly Ariba (Upstream and Downstream), SAP ECC and Concur.
- Proven experience managing stakeholders and driving change across large, diverse organisations.
- High-level interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritise and resolve issues effectively.
- Experience in collaborative and consultative professional environments.
- A passion for continuous improvement, systems governance, and stakeholder engagement.
- Hybrid working model with flexibility in location (Melbourne, Sydney or Adelaide).
- Occasional travel may be required across Australia and New Zealand
