Your role as a Speech Pathology Grad
- Help children achieve their development milestones such as communicating their wants and needs to help them participate in everyday activities (such as playing with their friends and family)
- Educate and involve parents, carers and others around the child to support the communication and language development of the child
- Support children to speak with clear and correct pronunciation so that others can understand them
- Treat stuttering and articulation disorders to speak fluently and confidently
- Address literacy, reading and writing difficulties, in conjunction with teachers and schools
- Teach children the skills to manage a wide range of food and drinks safely
About our Grads
We are looking for Grads who share our passion for making a difference and making therapy a fun, engaging and meaningful experience for families. You are enthusiastic and thrive in an environment that welcomes the fresh ideas you can bring to the wider team.
You will also have:
- A degree in Speech Pathology
- Eligibility for SPA registration upon graduating
- Graduated in the last 12 months or graduating in 2025
- A full valid driver/'s license, with access to your own vehicle with third party insurance
- A valid Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain
- A clear current Police Check, or be willing to obtain
- NDIS Workers Screening Clearance, or be willing to obtain
- First Aid and CPR certification, or be willing to obtain
- Excellent communication and time management skills, and attention to detail
