What you’ll do:

- Provide direct and consultative services to adults and children with disabilities, along with their families and supporters.

- Conduct dynamic assessments and prescribe equipment using diverse tools and approaches.

- Design individualised, flexible therapy plans focused on personal goals and clear outcomes.

- Assist individuals and families in identifying priorities and achieving their goals through informed decisions.

- Collaborate with other Allied Health professionals to deliver multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary care.

- Deliver services in alignment with NDIS requirements.

- Work independently, exercising judgment on routine matters; seek supervision for complex tasks.

- Participate in professional development, workplace education, and mentoring sessions.

- Contribute to the evaluation and refinement of guidelines, policies, and procedures.

- Supervise Allied Health Assistants and discipline-specific students as needed.

- Attend and contribute to team and discipline-specific meetings.

- Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, interventions, and therapy reports, in line with best practices.

- Build and sustain collaborative relationships with stakeholders and the local disability sector.

What we’re looking for:

- A qualified Speech Pathologist (Bachelor or Master’s in Speech Pathology) with current SPA registration.

- Demonstrated experience in working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in a therapeutic setting.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for making a difference.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team.

- A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on best practices in speech pathology.

- Willingness to embrace diversity and work in a culturally sensitive, neurodiversity-affirming way.

- Passionate about human rights and creating positive change.
