Job Description About the role As a Lending Verifications Officer, your role plays an important part in ensuring high quality and professional service to members and brokers throughout the loan application process and consequently has a considerable impact on member service satisfaction and business retention. The role consists of packaging and assessing loan applications (online, broker and Sales Team) including analysing and verifying loan application documents; ordering and reviewing valuation reports; liaising with Broker Relationship Manager and individual brokers to provide updates on loan applications, and other general administrative tasks included in the loan application process. This includes: - Liasing with other parties, including members, valuers, brokers and Sales Team members in relation to loan applications. - Preparing loan documentation for submission to the Credit Assessment team. - Verifying documents received for authenticity and compliance with lending policy. - Conduct loan assessments within QBANK's policy (subject to holding compliant delegated lending authority). - Identify process improvement opportunities. - Adhere to QBANK's policies and procedures, including the Code of Conduct. The role is located at our North Quay head office in the Brisbane CBD, across the road from Roma Street Station. We also offer the opportunity to work from home one day per week after completion of the probation period, dependent on individual and team needs.
