The Microsoft 365 Specialist plays a key role as the technical escalation point of our Microsoft 365 Centre of Excellence. As a Microsoft 365 Specialist, you will be accountable for delivering a first-class experience for consumers of our Modern Workplace services including guiding our business and Customers towards adoption and continuous improvement with the Microsoft 365 stack. Focusing on Microsoft 365 enablement and productivity outcomes for our customers including workloads spanning data, files, communications and collaboration, security and identity and access management.

This role is available across our Australian Offices: Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane and Melbourne. Australian Citizenship is required to be eligible for NV1 Clearance.

What you’ll do

As the Microsoft 365 Specialist you will typically have exposure across a wide variety of technology areas including (but not limited to):

- Microsoft identity management (AzureAD, AD Connect, ADFS and Microsoft Identity Manager)
- Modern business collaboration tools in the Office 365 suite – Teams, Planner, Groups, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Yammer etc.
- Collaboration and video conferencing solutions like Teams, and ancillary systems like Poly, Cisco and Zoom
- Working knowledge of competitor solutions in the above IT platforms
- Email security and archive technologies (Office 365 ATP/EOP, Mimecast, Avepoint)

What You’ll Bring

Please note that you must be an Australian Citizen to be successful in your application for this role.

You will have previous experience in an ICT Professional Services organisation and have extensive hands-on experience as a Microsoft 365 Engineer. You will be able to demonstrate;

- Extensive knowledge of core collaboration services in Office 365 including:
- Exchange Online Mailbox Management
- Exchange Online Protection
- Microsoft Teams
- SharePoint Online
- OneDrive for Business
- Extensive knowledge of core AzureAD identity management and related objects including:
- Users
- Traditional Groups (Security, Distribution)
- Office 365 Groups
- Devices
- Guest Users (External Users)
- Working knowledge of AzureAD identity and authentication technologies including:
- Azure AD Connect
- Password Hash Sync
- Pass-thru Authentication
- Seamless SSO
- ADFS
- Azure MFA
- SSPR
