Job Description

- Manage a portfolio of claims from initiation to resolution.

- Provide expert advice and guidance on claims management processes.

- Review and assess claims documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy.

- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve efficient outcomes.

- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for claims decisions.

- Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity in claims systems.

- Identify and mitigate risks associated with claims processes.

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the claims department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Claims Specialist or Portfolio Manager should have:

- Proven experience in end to end claims management within the medical indemnity industry.

- Strong knowledge of relevant insurance policies, regulations and legal framework.

- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.

- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Proficiency in using claims management systems and software.

- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

What/'s on Offer

- Hourly rate of $57 - $63 ph for the claims specialist role and $70 - $80 ph for the portfolio manager role.
